Data Mining allows to search for information and behavior patterns in large databases. Weka is an application developed for this purpose with something in its own favor in comparison with other similar programs: is is developed using the GPL license and it is free.

  Weka has been developed in Java by the University of Waikato in New Zeland. These algorithms can be applied directly over a database or they can be called from their own Java code.

  Within the tool it includes tools to process the data, classify it, the regression, the clustering, the rule association or the visualization. It is also perfectly prepared for the development of new learning schemes about machines.
